Dodgers Vs. Padres Game Preview: Seeking Series Win With Shohei Ohtani Out Of Lineup
Briefly

After dropping the series opener to the San Diego Padres, L.A. cruised to a victory on Saturday and can avoid losing their first series since April 19-21 with a win on Sunday. Ohtani felt his back tighten up on Saturday night and was removed from the game, getting pinch hit for in the ninth inning.
Manager Dave Roberts does not believe Ohtani's back injury is concerning but decided to give him a day off. This is only Ohtani's second missed game this season, the first being a scheduled day off.
The Dodgers adjusted their lineup with Ohtani out, moving Will Smith and Freddie Freeman up. Teoscar Hernández takes over the cleanup spot. Sunday's game features the return of Walker Buehler post-Tommy John surgery, managing expectations and hoping to maintain top form.
