The Los Angeles Dodgers placed Jason Heyward on the 15-day injured list due lower back tightness.
Taylor Trammell, who was claimed off waivers from the Seattle Mariners, replaces Heyward on the active roster.
Heyward was scratched from a game due to back trouble, visited Dodgers' spine surgeon Dr. Robert Watkins, and will have extra time to recover.
Taylor Trammell, a left-handed hitting outfielder, has struggled in the Majors but is a former top prospect who joined the Dodgers from the Mariners.
