Andy Pages struggled at the beginning of the 2025 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, posting a poor batting average and making defensive errors. Recently, however, he has turned his performance around, batting .429 over his last seven games and displaying increased confidence and a refined swing. While he still needs to improve on the bases and defensively, Pages has managed to raise his overall stats, including home runs and runs scored, indicating potential for a successful season ahead as he learns from seasoned players like Teoscar Hernández.
I like his swing. Certainly, the results have been good the last handful of games. The swing has gotten a lot shorter. He's starting to get a lot more confident.
With the hot stretch, Pages has raised his overall batting line to .216/.310/.419, good for a 108 wRC+ on the season, totaling four home runs.
He still needs to continue improving, cutting out the mental mistakes on the bases and defensively, but he has shown flashes with the glove.
It's just a sample size of 14 plate appearances, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has been encouraged by the progress Pages has made offensively.
