Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Kyle Hurt, 26, will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery after suffering a torn UCL. He was placed on the injured list in April with shoulder inflammation.
Hurt made an impressive MLB debut in 2023, retiring top batters like Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto, and Manny Machado. He had a 1.35 ERA in his first three appearances this season before the injury.
