Dave Roberts 'Very Confident' With Walker Buehler Potentially Starting In Postseason
Briefly

"I feel good," answered manager Dave Roberts when asked for his confidence level in Buehler possibly starting for the Dodgers in the playoffs. "This is as confident as I think I've been, and most importantly, Walker is. And the most confident, I think, this year... It was in there, but obviously he needs to have some success to believe in himself... I feel very confident with him starting a playoff game for us."
Despite finishing with nine strikeouts against the Rockies, Buehler allowed four runs over 5.1 innings. He recognized some positives but admitted it was 'not good enough at this point of the year.' His performance has drawn scrutiny as the postseason looms.
Heading into the playoffs, the Dodgers face uncertainty in their rotation. With Clayton Kershaw's health a major concern, Buehler stands out as one of the few reliable options. Other candidates like Jack Flaherty and Yoshinobu Yamamoto have yet to solidify their roles.
