Thankfully for Roberts, Dodgers fans aren't too fond of Missouri either, with the St. Louis Cardinals presenting one of their primary postseason rivals over the past decade. Many Dodgers fans also became 49ers fans with no pro football team in Los Angeles for a long stretch of time.
49ers general manager John Lynch is looking to win his second Super Bowl, with his first coming as a player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl 37. Although he was an All-Pro safety in the NFL, Lynch also had a short baseball career after being drafted by the then-Florida Marlins in the second round of the 1992 MLB Draft.
