The Clippers expect Tyronn Lue to be the coach for a 'long time' and plan to offer him a contract extension to prevent him from coaching in the final year of his current deal in 2024-25.
Lue's contract for next season is a team option and partially guaranteed, but talks about an extension have not taken place yet.
