10 Linux apps I can't do without - and why

Opera has been my web browser of choice for a long, long time. The main reason I've stuck with Opera over the years is it has the best tab management on the market.
LibreOffice is not only the best office suite on the market, but it's also open-source. I've written over 60 novels with the help of LibreOffice, a fact that speaks highly of the application.
Though using the command line isn't required for Linux desktop usage, I rely on it every day due to its power and flexibility. It enhances my productivity.
