Zero Day Initiative - Detailing the Attack Surfaces of the WolfBox E40 EV Charger
Briefly

The WolfBox E40 is designed for residential electric vehicle charging, featuring a user-friendly interface through Bluetooth and NFC for configuration and authentication.
The mobile application, WolfBox EV, allows users to configure and maintain their charging station, and interestingly, manages various other smart devices beyond EV chargers.
Despite not being in the scope of the Pwn2Own Automotive contest, the WolfBox EV mobile application represents a significant attack surface for potential vulnerabilities.
Researchers from Trend Micro's ZDI have identified that the device contains multiple PCBs with dedicated functions such as power management, human-interface elements, and communication.
