The group, known as Scattered Spider, has targeted 29 companies, including banks and insurance firms, using social engineering attacks at a rapid pace since April 20.

They have been purchasing 'lookalike domains' to create fake login pages, tricking employees with phishing emails and SMS messages to harvest credentials.
