Congress' biggest China hacking fears are sitting at shipping ports across the U.S.

The House Select Committee found that cranes with cellular modems by Chinese company ZPMC might enable unauthorized data collection and nation-state espionage at key U.S. ports.

Lawmakers noted that the modems were unnecessary for crane operation, providing a means to circumvent firewalls, raising concerns about their potential misuse in disrupting port operations.
