The CISO Society and RegScale released a report detailing insights from around 200 CISOs that highlight the substantial challenges organizations encounter in the continuously evolving threat landscape. Major issues identified include data silos, manual processing, staffing shortages, and limited technology integration. Notably, 94.2% of CISOs believe that Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) can enhance compliance and security by fostering better visibility and automation. However, over 95% of respondents feel that their compliance programs aren't optimized for improvement, constrained by budgetary issues and inadequate resources.
