Ebertfest 2025, held from April 23-26 at the Virginia Theatre in Champaign, has announced its final three films: MEGALOPOLIS by Francis Ford Coppola, I'M STILL HERE by Walter Salles, and THE ADVENTURES OF PRINCE ACHMED by Lotte Reiniger. The festival will include a virtual Q&A with Coppola, a discussion with Sony's Michael Barker on I'M STILL HERE, and a performance by The Anvil Orchestra for the latter film. Aligned with Roger Ebert's belief in film's empathy-generating power, festival founders express excitement for the communal experience and growth of the event.
"It is incredible that Nate Kohn and I are just as excited to present the line-up for this 26th Ebertfest as we were for the first!" said Chaz Ebert.
"This year's line-up is one of the most exciting we've ever had... Roger would be very proud to see how his festival continues to grow." said Nate Kohn.
