The mummified remains of a sabre-toothed cat cub, called Homotherium latidens, were found in Siberia, remarkably preserved in permafrost, dating back 35,500 to 37,000 years ago.
This discovery marks the first-ever mummy of the Homotherium latidens, enabling researchers to study its fur, muzzle shape, and muscle distribution, providing insights into its juvenile development.
