Nearly Half of Recent College Grads Live With Their Parents-and Most of the Men Say They're Not Ready To Leave

A recent study by Sallie Mae indicated that nearly half of recent college graduates live at home with parents or relatives. Among graduates from the past two years, 64% reside with parents, while 2% live with other family members. By five years post-graduation, 35% still live at home. Notably, 45% of male graduates report not being ready to move out, compared to only 28% of female graduates.
