Aviva and Douglasdale are forming a 50/50 joint venture to establish the fourth health insurer in the Irish market, aiming to bring in much-needed competition.
The new provider, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to begin selling private health insurance in the second half of 2024, providing Irish consumers greater choice and value.
