The FDA issued a food recall of vegetable products due to potential E. coli contamination, which affects several popular brands including Marketside and Wild Harvest.
4Earth Farms voluntarily recalled their products after Grimmway Farms informed them that some supplied carrots may be tainted with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli O121:H19.
The recall includes nine items, mostly vegetable medley products and whole carrots, with distribution through major retailers like Walmart.
Importantly, all recalled products were expired for over three weeks, raising potential health concerns for consumers.
