Study shows toxic air in NYC subway system

When a train comes by, the concentrations shoot up in the air. In other words, the train is churning up all the stuff that is deposited over years in the bottom of the tracks.
He says Black and Hispanic low income riders have increased exposure because they typically have longer commutes.
The MTA released a statement saying 'This recycled study based on years-old data has long since been debunked.'
