San Jose Rotary unveils mobile medical clinic to serve vulnerable populations
Briefly

Five years after seeking a new location for health services, the Rotary Club of San Jose, in partnership with Catholic Charities and Order of Malta, launched the Rotary Mobile Medical Clinic to directly serve vulnerable populations.
"We wanted to identify a project that we felt would solve a critical need...We think the Rotary Mobile Medical Clinic does exactly that," said San Jose Rotarian Vincent Sunzeri at the opening.
Greg Kepferle explained that the mobile clinic will address social determinants of health, including issues like food, housing, and access to immigration legal services.
"Let's think about moving from episodic care to trying to transition people into the medical system...That will be the true measure of our success," Sunzeri emphasized.
