An independent review of over 1000 bone densitometry scans conducted between January 2017 and January 2022 revealed potential concerns regarding diagnosis and treatment recommendations. In 20 cases, patient care was deemed below expected standards. Approximately 250 patients will be recalled for repeat scans to monitor changes in bone density.
