Recently, Randy changed his lifestyle after participating in a Stanford Medicine study that monitored his metabolic responses to carbohydrates with a glucose device. The research involved glucose tracking in 55 subjects consuming various carbohydrate meals. Findings from this study aim to enhance prevention, diagnosis, and treatment options for diabetes and other metabolic diseases, which affect millions of Americans, especially those over 65, many of whom are unaware they are prediabetic.
