The consumption of these food products can result in devastating consequences, and our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of the infants who passed away, Dr. Tomás J. Nineteen individuals across eight states became ill, including 17 who were hospitalized, from Yu Shang Food ready-to-eat meat and poultry items from October 2021 to October 2024, according to the CDC. California has reported 10 illnesses to date.
