Measles exposure reported at SF Bay Area restaurant

The department is asking certain groups of people who dined at the restaurant in this timeframe to call their doctor: unvaccinated individuals or anyone who is uncertain about their vaccine status, pregnant women, those who are immunocompromised, health care and child care workers, and parents with infants.
Fifty-eight cases have been reported in the U.S. since the start of the year; there were 58 cases total in all of 2023. The majority of cases (93%) in the U.S. this year are linked to international travel, the CDC said. Most people who have reported infections were unvaccinated.
