More than 150,000 people in Gaza have contracted skin diseases due to squalid conditions post-war, including scabies, chicken pox, lice, and impetigo.
Lack of basic hygiene and sanitary products has led to the spread of infections, exacerbating the risk of disease, as pollution in the Mediterranean increases.
The WHO reported cases like 96,417 of scabies and lice, 9,274 of chickenpox, 60,130 of skin rashes, and 10,038 of impetigo since the start of the war.
