The new recall includes 71 products made between May 10 and July 29 under the Boar's Head and Old Country brand names, including liverwurst, ham, beef salami, and bologna.
Out of an abundance of caution, the company expanded the recall and halted production at the Jarratt plant, where the listeria strain was found matching the one causing illnesses.
The meat distributed nationwide and internationally to several countries, posing a risk for consumers. Proper disposal and cleaning measures are advised by officials.
