'Nothing like this has been done before for Bond': Behind the design of the stunning new James Bond book covers
Briefly

I pitched the idea to the estate in 2018 after attending a block print workshop, thinking a mid-century graphic style had not been done for Bond.
In 2021, while teaching a concept art class, I decided to finish the rest of the Bond set, adding fresh ideas and influences from my workshop.
My earlier set was more parody-based, but this new one leverages strong symbolism from the franchise while carefully honoring expectations and history.
I was given free reign to choose plot points for each cover, which is different from my previous experiences in this artistic process.
