Microsoft Designer, the generative AI image production tool, is now available as a free app for iOS and Android, with features like generative erase, color pop, auto crop, text and markup.
Designer is integrated into various Microsoft apps like Word and PowerPoint, allowing image creation while working, offering prompt templates for ideas and styles, and enabling creation of emojis, clip art, wallpapers, avatars, and more.
The new Designer app includes AI generation features and light image editing tools like background removal and blurring. A replace-background tool is in development to upload photos and create new backgrounds.
Designer offers 15 free daily boosts to expedite creating or editing AI-powered images and designs, applicable to the user's account.
