"I tried to tell a story with this model": how this freelance illustrator developed and modelled an original character in ZBrush
Briefly

Nicoly Boaventura, a freelance illustrator and 3D artist from São Paulo, Brazil, designed an original character named 'Alyssa' for a final project during a 3D course. The character is depicted as adventurous, seated on a fence with a map, accompanied by a cat and a comical mouse. Nicoly incorporated various personal elements, such as headphones and sporty attire, into the character's design. The project served as a significant learning experience, showcasing her growth in 3D modeling using ZBrush and Blender for rendering.
I tried to tell a story with this model, something like an adventurous character, sitting on a fence at the side of the road and holding paper that could be a map.
The whole piece was very new to me, but it was a challenging project with a rewarding result that provided a lot of learning in the process.
