A parent in South Carolina has launched a lawsuit against Mattel after her daughter accidentally accessed a pornographic website linked to a typo on Wicked doll packaging.
'These scenes were hardcore, full on nude pornographic images depicting actual intercourse,' the lawsuit claims, highlighting the graphic nature of the content discovered by the child.
Mattel stated, 'We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this,' and advised parents to discard or obscure the link.
The plaintiff claims emotional distress resulting from the incident, asserting that if she had known about the error, she would not have purchased the dolls.
