Kerr: Officials need to call more traveling, including on Warriors
Briefly

Steve Kerr, coach of the Golden State Warriors, has called for NBA officials to enforce traveling violations more strictly. Following a game against the Charlotte Hornets, where Kerr received a technical foul for disputing a non-call on a travel, he expressed his frustration, noting that he sees multiple instances of uncalled traveling in games. He emphasized that footwork is foundational to basketball and that inconsistent officiating undermines the game. Kerr believes that addressing this issue could enhance the overall quality of NBA play.
I don't understand why we are not teaching our officials to call travel in this league. … I see five or six travels a game that aren't called.
You know it's a problem when there are like a hundred fans in the stands… and everyone is seeing it, so we are clearly not teaching as a league our officials to look at the feet.
The entire game is based on footwork... we need to enforce traveling violations and we are not doing it and I don't understand why.
These (officials) are awesome. … but footwork is the entire basis of the game and we need to call traveling. It will be a much better game if we clean it up.
