Transfer Point is a modern adventure game made with 40-year-old software
""The initial motivation was wanting to share this tool that was really innovative at the time, and meant a lot to me as a kid," says developer Mike Piontek."
""It became a puzzle of how to pull all these disparate ideas together.""
""I thought it'd be fun to make a simple point-and-click adventure game, but it turned into a much larger project than I anticipated.""
Transfer Point is a game that emulates classic Mac point-and-click adventures, developed using World Builder, a game creation tool from 1986. Developer Mike Piontek aimed to share the innovative tool that influenced him as a child. Initially intended as a short project, it evolved into a year-long endeavor. Piontek's passion for adventure games began with Silicon Beach Software, inspiring him to create his own games. He continues to share his love for classic games through Twitch, where the idea for Transfer Point originated.
