A new Zachtronics puzzle game? Kind of!
Briefly

In 2022, Zach Barth announced the closure of his studio Zachtronics, known for innovative puzzle games. Barth explained the team's desire for creative evolution, leading to the formation of a new studio, Coincidence. This new entity has already launched various games, including an educational racing game and recently revealed 'Kaizen: A Factory Story.' Set in the 1980s Japanese bubble economy, Kaizen allows players to design and optimize factory production lines, promising the depth and complexity fans expect while appealing to a wider audience. The game is set for release on Windows PC later this year.
We felt it was time for a change. This might sound weird, but while we got very good at making 'Zachtronics games' over the last twelve years, it was hard for us to make anything else.
With Kaizen: A Factory Story, we're aiming to bring the open-ended design we're known for to a broader audience without compromising on depth or complexity.
