The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 silently emerged on Qualcomm's website as the new mid-range platform, enhancing AI performance and adding notable features while maintaining similarities with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
This new chipset showcases an octa-core CPU composed of four high-performance Cortex-A78 cores and four efficient Cortex-A55 cores, although it falls short in efficiency core clock speeds compared to its Snapdragon 7 counterpart.
Despite its mid-range positioning, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 supports advanced capabilities, including 48 MP single sensor camera handling and compatibility with both LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 RAM.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E, but there is a lack of information about its market launch, as Qualcomm didn't issue a formal announcement.
