Lenovo squeezed eight speakers into its chonky new tablet
Briefly

Lenovo's new 11.5-inch Tab Plus boasts 26W of sound through four tweeters and four woofers, with the ability to connect other devices wirelessly to use it as a Bluetooth speaker.
The Tab Plus is geared towards media consumption with MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage. It features Android 14, promises OS upgrades for two years, and security patches for four years.
Despite the Tab Plus' 11.5-inch 90Hz 2K LCD display and an 8,600mAh battery lasting up to 12 hours with 45W fast charging, its bulky 13.58mm thickness due to integrated woofers may be a downside compared to slimmer competitors.
While the Tab Plus offers a pop-out kickstand for using it as a Bluetooth speaker and a headphone jack supporting high-res audio, its design tradeoff with the bulge on the back sets it apart from thinner models like Apple's 13-inch iPad Pro at 5.1mm.
