It's all downhill from there! Christmas excitement hits its peak age 6
"A poll of 2,000 adults found that holiday magic is highest for children age six - a time when parents believe their child's imagination is at its most vivid. This is when they begin to weave stories, characters and worlds with effortless ease, making the wonder of Christmas even more magical. A quarter of parents say anticipation is at fever pitch as their children don their pyjamas and put out mince pies and carrots on Christmas Eve."
"The enthusiasm of children appears to be contagious as 87 per cent of parents said they feel more festive as a result of their child's excitement. Other top Christmas moments, according to the poll, include meeting Santa at a grotto, singing Christmas songs and helping wrap presents for others. Over half of parents admitted they've shed a tear whilst watching their child experience Christmas. Seven in 10 also report their child's imaginative spirit rekindles their own sense of wonder during the festive season."
A poll of 2,000 adults found holiday magic peaks for children at age six when their imagination is most vivid. At that age children weave stories, characters and worlds with effortless ease, heightening festive wonder. A quarter of parents report fever-pitch anticipation as children don pyjamas and place mince pies and carrots on Christmas Eve; 15% say children refuse to go to bed the night before. Eighty-seven percent of parents feel more festive because of their child's excitement. Many parents create new family traditions, replicate childhood experiences and cry watching children at Christmas. Samsung commissioned the research and released an advert featuring Laura, who brings an imaginary friend to life using Galaxy AI.
