Google has officially rolled out its Gemini Live features for the Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25, enabling real-time question-and-answer capabilities using the device's camera or screen sharing. First announced at Mobile World Congress, these features utilize Gemini's multi-modal technology to interact with Google's chatbot based on live visuals. For those without the compatible devices, access is still possible through the Gemini app for Android users with a Google One AI Premium plan, which involves a monthly fee.
Later than expected, Google has begun rolling a pair of new Gemini Live features to Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 devices, allowing interaction through video and screensharing.
The two features allow you to take advantage of Gemini's multi-modal capabilities to ask Google's chatbot questions about what you see in front of you.
If you don't own a Pixel 9 or Galaxy S25, you can still access the new features through the Gemini app on Android with a Google One AI Premium plan.
