If you already have the previous Chromebook 516 GE, there's very little reason to upgrade to the 2024 Chromebook Plus model. The processor is now an Intel Core 5 120U instead of the Core i5-1240P, but you likely won't notice much of a difference in speed.
Performance on the Chromebook Plus 516 GE is excellent, with the laptop handling quick swaps between apps and numerous tabs effortlessly. The battery life is reliable for extended workdays, and the cooling system keeps the device running quietly.
