French President Emmanuel Macron issued his first public remarks on his controversial pension reform on Wednesday, days after his government forced the passage of the bill and sparked violent protests accross the country."This bill will continue its democratic pathway," Macron said.The French president added that his government was hoping the Constitutional Council's decision to clear the bill.
