Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris cancelled its holiday window display and pop-up store in BHV Marais. "Conditions are no longer exist to calmly hold Christmas events," Shein told AFP."
The French government will suspend Shein’s website over alleged online sales of childlike "sex dolls" until the site complies with French law. Shein said it is working with authorities and has banned sex dolls on its platform. A French consumer watchdog discovered the dolls and weapons on the site. Under French law, the government can order businesses to remove illegal content within 24 hours and block access to offending sites. Shein opened its first Paris brick-and-mortar store on the sixth floor of BHV Marais and faces protests, police presence, event cancellations, and planned additional French store openings in five cities.
