They were particularly disappointed by the food quality, asserting it was inedible, which forced them to dine outside the hotel. The court ruled that although the parents chose not to eat at the hotel after the first night, the condition of their room justified their case for damages. Their vacation turned into a source of frustration rather than enjoyment.
At the end of the week, we as a family went home miserable. We had been expecting a gourmet experience at the hotel's restaurants, but everything about the food was poor.
It's not hard to get pastries right in France, but they got them wrong. We told our children on the first night that Daddy would get things sorted, but it wasn't sorted.
