Eiffel Tower to reopen Sunday as workers end strike

The Eiffel Tower, a major tourist attraction, had been closed for five days by a strike and will reopen Sunday following a deal between the monument's management and unions.
The parties have agreed to monitor SETE's business model, investments in works, and revenue through a monitoring body that will convene every six months. An investment of 380 million euros until 2031 has been decided towards the maintenance of the iconic tower.
