WFF has focused on leadership development since 1989 and centers its mission on Changing the Face of Leadership®. Industry conditions in 2026 — including talent shortages, shifting consumer expectations, and the need for more diverse leadership pipelines — increase the urgency of that mission. Kelli Valade became WFF President & CEO in February 2026 with prior CEO and president roles at major restaurant chains.
