Three hours and dozens of food and drink options, Taste of Richmond returns with updates
"The purpose is to highlight and introduce the many flavors and businesses in our city, said Diana Wear, vice chair of the Economic Development Commission."
"Our mission is to bring people together through the joy and purpose of food and art, creating experiences that not only feed our bodies but also strengthen the body of our local economy."
"The hope is that Richmond continues introducing, or reintroducing, small businesses to the community, enhancing the overall culinary experience."
Richmond's food scene requires exploration, as restaurants are spread out rather than clustered. The Taste of Richmond Experience, held on March 28, aims to facilitate food discovery by showcasing around 40 local eateries, breweries, and more. Hosted by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce and local nonprofits, the event promotes small businesses and economic stability. Tickets are $35 for unlimited sampling, targeting ages 13 and over. The initiative seeks to unite the community through food and art, enhancing local economic strength.
