Thiptara Thai Restaurant, located at The Peninsula Bangkok, provides a beautiful dining experience with its eight-course set menu showcasing traditional Thai dishes. Set amidst a tropical garden by the Chao Praya River, the restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by natural elements and cultural décor. Guests can choose their preferred spice level for dishes, making it accessible for varying palates. The experience is complemented by unique Thai beverages, including wines and kombucha, creating a memorable culinary journey for newcomers to Thai cuisine.
On our first night in the city, we enjoyed the set menu, which was not only delicious but also enabled us to explore a range of dishes.
Thiptara Riverside Restaurant is entered through a traditional Thai teak dwelling, open to the sides with tables within.
We had been invited to review Thiptara's eight-course set menu which suited me perfectly as I was keen to try as many traditional Thai dishes as I could.
The lights of the hotels across the water lit up as the sun set; the riverboats were like jewels crisscrossing the waterway.
