"Why would you stop at McDonald's, pick up my food, and then stop and eat it."
"McDonald's is 2.2 kilometres away."
"You can cancel it. You're sitting there with your hands in my food, I don't want it."
Bianca Green ordered a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal and waited in her car after dropping her children at school. The delivery tracker initially showed the driver two minutes away, then five, prompting Bianca to locate the driver. She found him stationary beside his bike holding a McDonald's cup that she says was part of her order. The driver told her he had an injury and no energy and offered to buy a replacement, which she refused. Bianca believes he would have continued eating the meal if she had not intervened. Uber Eats confirmed the conduct was unacceptable and opened an urgent investigation.
