Prominent Campbell restaurant site will remain Greek
"We're targeting late January to early February for opening, and I definitely want everything ready before Valentine's Day,"
"The plan is to go big on brunch and even a full breakfast menu on Saturdays and Sundays."
A prominent downtown Campbell restaurant corner that formerly housed Opa! will retain a focus on Greek cuisine. Owners of Elia, with locations in Pleasanton, Walnut Creek and San Carlos, are expanding into the space and have begun renovations. The target opening timeframe is late January to early February, with a goal to be ready before Valentine's Day. The concept will emphasize weekend service, including a major Sunday brunch and a full Saturday–Sunday breakfast menu to align with Campbell's weekly farmers market. Renovations are underway and more details will follow.
