According to a news release, it will feature seasonal dishes, including togarashi fried Brussels sprouts, duck fat potato rosti and lamb meatballs with labneh and mint chimichurri. The restaurant is part of a $100 million renovation to the 87-year-old resort. Des Jardin, who has won two James Beard awards in her career, is Sugar Bowl's culinary advisor, along with head sommelier Clay Reynolds."
"After cutting her teeth at Michelin-starred restaurants such as La Maison Troisgros in France, Patina in Los Angeles and Aqua in San Francisco, Des Jardin was named "rising star chef of the year" by the James Beard Foundation in 1995. Two years later, she opened her first restaurant, Jardinière, in San Francisco's Hayes Valley neighborhood. The fine-dining restaurant quickly became a crown jewel of the Bay Area restaurant world. In 2007, she won the James Beard award for Best Chef: Pacific."
