Despite hints toward a second season of Marvel's Moon Knight, TV head Brad Winderbaum confirmed that there are no immediate plans for it. He noted that Marvel's strategy has shifted towards creating shows designed for annual release rather than continuing individual character arcs in a serialized format. While there remain future plans for Moon Knight, the character's absence from recent Marvel projects and the ineffective nature of post-credit scenes have raised questions about their continued relevance, especially after recent narrative setbacks in the MCU.
It sounds like Marvel's Moon Knight won't get a season 2 any time soon.
Moon Knight is yet to make a proper appearance in another MCU project since the first season aired in 2022.
Winderbaum explained, 'I would love to see a Moon Knight season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road.'
It's clearly massively backfired for them with the Kang setups that they've since abandoned due to actor Jonathon Majors' conviction.
