Tom Cruise is facing significant challenges while filming 'Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning,' particularly during a scene involving a biplane. He detailed the difficulty of breathing at high speeds, leading to episodes of passing out. Director Christopher McQuarrie praised the astonishing stunts in the film, claiming they are more extreme than anything Cruise has done before. Despite not confirming if this will be the final installment, speculation surrounds Cruise's dedication to the franchise, including his notable appearances in recent events, highlighting his commitment to thrilling performances.
"When you stick your face out, going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you're not getting oxygen. So I had to train myself how to breathe," Cruise recalled.
"There are stunts in this movie that will melt your brain. There would be a day in Africa - any day in Africa - where Tom would go out and do something that topped anything he had ever done before," McQuarrie said.
"I truly want to puke thinking about the stress. It was intense," said McQuarrie about a challenging scene in the film.
Cruise has become famous for his stunts in the franchise, such as jumping a motorcycle off a cliff for 'Dead Reckoning.'
