"Check out slides from the presentation deck they used for "Flipping the Script.""
Traditional film and television production has slowed, with show cancellations, shoots moving to cheaper locales, and job losses from consolidation. The independent creator economy is booming and presents new opportunities for entertainment professionals. G&B Digital Management hosted free classes called "Flipping the Script" in Los Angeles and New York to teach practical steps and high-level overviews of platform strategies and audience-building. About 40 people attended a New York session, including film and TV producers and directors. The classes state that production and managerial skills are transferable to creator work, noting producers' strong organizational and leadership experience. Slides from the presentation deck are available.
